When you defeat Deathevan

All your party members will make a comment, though the essence of what they say depends on which position they (I'll label them as 1, 2, and 3, with 1 being the party member being who was in the second position of the party when you were fighting Deathevan, with 2 being the person in position 3, and 3 being the person in postion 4).

1:  Says something along the lines of "We did it!" or "You did it!"
3:  Says something about when the party was in the crystal (Exception:  Bleu says someting like "Yeah!  That's what you get when you mess with us!")
2:  Usually some sort of comment related to Anfini; Katt will say that that she thinks this is what she was born for.
3:  Spins and says something along the lines of "We did it!"
1:  Hops and says that the party members back in Town Ship helped, too.

You'll leave now.  The person in the back of the walking order  (person 3, if you decided not to change it; further dialog summed up here will assume you didn't change it) will hang back when the party leaves the chamber, and make some comment about the adventure (Ryu won't, if you put him the back; I'd swear the man has no lines in the whole friggin' game).

You'll return to Dologany, and then to the surface, at the gate.  Before you appear at the gate, you'll see a scene of your friends waiting in Town Ship.  Now that you're back, your party members have a couple other things to say.

1:  Proclaims Ryu to be a great man.
3:  Tells Ryu not be embarresed, that he is indeed a great man.
2:  Also says that Ryu is great
2:  Says that the party should return to Town Ship and their friends.
The party will start to leave, but Ryu will stay behind. Person 3 asks why he's staying behind, and then everyone but Ryu will leave the area.

Ryu will walk towards the gate and think about a few things.  He'll realize that Deathevan was not destroyed, but has merely been returned to the state that it was in when the goddess of destruction first created it.  Ryu will decide to do he the only thing he can to ensure that Deathevan won't come back.

What happens now depends on whether or not Town Ship can fly.

Town Ship cannot fly

I haven't actually seen this ending; I'll have to my next time through the game.  I've read a description, though.  The rest of the party will arrive in Gate proper, and will hear the roar of a dragon.  They'll run back to the gate, and find a very, very big dragon covering it with its head.  They'll realize this must be Ryu, and try to wake him.  They'll fail, of course.  It'll end with something like, "deep in his slumber, Ryu could his friends calling him.  He did not feel sad, though, for he knew that one day he would meet them -- or their descendants -- again."  Fin.

Town Ship can fly

The party sans Ryu will arrive in Gate, and Person 1 will wonder what happened to Ryu.  They'll return to the gate, and see Ryu standing in front of it.

1:  Says something along the lines of "What are you doing?"
2:  Asks if Ryu means to do what his mother did (rhetorical question).
3:  Asks Ryu not to do it.

A grinding noise (the earthquake sound) will begin.  Everyone, inclduin Ryu, will look around for the source.  They'll find it, and the scene will scroll up to reveal Town Ship hovering overhead.  Ganer will congratulate Ryu for facing his destiny, but will state that he didn't raise his son to hurt his friends.  Ganer will then park Town Ship right on top of the gate.  When he does this, you'll see a scene of the other characters in the waiting room at their house in Town Ship.  Nina will be hovering, Bleu will be curled up on top of the book shelf, Jean will be spinning in place, and everyone else will be bouncing around the room (on definate paths), and  the party will be knocked into the grass.

Ryu will come out of the grass, and Town Ship will turn off, so to speak.  Ganer will tell Ryu and his friends to spread their beliefs and justice through the world; if they can pull it off, Deathevan might never recover.  It'll cut to a scene of your friends in the den.  One of them will make a comment (I've only seen Jean and Katt comment, so far; the formor said "That was very painful" while the latter said "What the heck is going on?!").  Then one of them (Bow, Rand, Katt, or Nina, in that order of preference; if you have everyone before that person in your party, it'll be that person) will leave the den and come out of the party's house just in time to tell the returning heroes "Welcome Home!"  Fin.
