MOOCHERS...
  Errrr... I mean
TENANTS

Ok all the free loaders from the game, and the other important info.  It's important to note that if their houses are filled they may disappear entirely.....

Name What house Where to find them What they do
Akky 3 in the house west of the Sea of trees Can be invited with or without by Katt's Transformation shaman form (but that's the only way to understand it), then the cat has kitty's with someone else; no real value
Azura 3 In the cave in Mt. Fubi Takes you to a hunting ground stocked with animals; always in same spot
Back 1 Hidden in the lower right corner of the Guntz armory Increases the defense of a character by 4, another one who's effect where's off after a battle...Jerry For sending me this one!!!
Baretta 3 In the armory shop in Windia Makes an armory yes it sucks for like the 1st 3/4 but after you beat Evrai you'll never regret inviting her
Barose (click here for more detail) 4 In Gandaroff's mind (I believe in the 3rd town) Make sure you have the last 3 houses built before going into Gandroff's mind.  He teaches spells depending on what color the Dragon Tear is.  If it's flashing he'll give you Missle, just keep answering no to all his questions until it does, oh yeah and you have to have 0AP and 1 Hp (use bait for the hp, AP you'll just hafta wing it)
Bockden 2 Cave over by Gate, (where you first fought Barubary) Builds a Dojo have no idea what it does..... (Ed here -- it's been more or less confirmed that he's useless)
Daiye 6 In the 2nd floor of the Windia Inn If you have the carpenter who cooks he is a must have, he sells Tuna which are needed to make Wiseballs!!!
El 5 In Tunlan near where you got the Therapy Pillow Says he's gonna protect the town, No noticable difference...useless unless you like monkeys (must have Sten talk to him) Wait!!! New info!! He may build a jail that he locks people in and if you let them free they give you an item, can anyone confirm this????? (probably not...)  More new info, courtesy of SuppaFlip3: At the point where you need to find Patty, you'll find her in El's house instead of the characters house (El caught her). Additional verification would be welcome.
Garber 6 Way over in the Farm Town inn He increases damage of your weapons for the 1st battle that you win.....then they're nice and dull again..
Hanz 5 He's over in either your house or the one next to it way back in Home Town (disappears if house if filled) He opens up a very unique item shop, it's not armor, and it's not weapons, their the extra things you can equip on your guys (i.e. Charm and D earings) and there's lot's of them....I don't remember exactly when he appears but check back at Home Town often.
Hekkeller 1 He's somewhere near Hanz but disapears after house one is filled. Sells fire based armor and weapons and although their strong for awhile they soon are outdone by other armor shops.  If nothing else, buy a Fire Ring.
Karashinikofu 4 The big building in Guntz He sells some pretty good stuff, but Baretta will also eventually sell that stuff, if I remember right.
Kay 1 You can find her on the 2nd floor of the Eva church in Coursair She gives a shot that makes you immune to poison for a few battles (less then 5) and then you stuck usin' antidotes again, unless you travel all the way back and get another.....
Lemington 2 Upstairs, Capitan Inn Another useless armory (Ed here -- this is the only place where you can acquire a Demon Shield)
Locker 3 In Capitan Inn He changes the color of your entire town!!! Unless you like it.... If you want a pleasent paint job might as well recruit Locker
MacClean 2 Over where you get the whale bell from the old man on the seashore. Takes you to his secret fishing spot that is stock full of snappers and pileworms, it's always in the same spot, so if you move Township it won't matter
Marcotti 3 In the Coursair Pub's bathroom Nothing just says he'll repay you someday
Martin 5 In the Tunlan inn lying on a bed, on the near side of the screen He takes 3,000 coins to "fight that guy"  and leaves you a note saying that he went to fight him.  Then he comes back and says your gonna fight that guy, doesn't do anything useful unless you get him before you cure the Queen of Tunlan, then he gives you 5,000 coins, which doesn't last you all that long.
Pachirio 2 upper level of theives Tomb Steals all your money and hides it. Then gives a clue on where to find it
Poo 1 2nd level of the Coursair Pub Steals items for you, hardly anything useful except  the moondrop he occasionally finds.
Salvador 6 He's in the 1st cell of the Sima Fort Prison (Jean was down there) He builds tiny little statues after borrowing you guys for awhile, and they're ugly to.. (Ed here...  Not ugly, just small -- the amount of time that a character is borrowed is measured in real time; according to Ben Siron, it's never longer than 14 minutes)
Surfy 6 Way over on the peninsula that jets out on the eastern most place in the game (need Sten to reach it) She makes a bank, average ordinary bank
Sumner 6 In Tunlan (one of the rooms, he's not hard to find) He plays music tracks from the game, even though some are missing, it seems.  (Ed here... At least five are missing, including the final boss music and the ending theme)
Watts 1 In the carnival at Tunlan only Asks you riddles -- answers are A, 3, Green, Shoes, and Water.  The riddles are always asked in the same order.  If you get them all right (if you blow it, just leave and re-enter the house), he'll ask you where the legendary magician is.  He'll let you keep guessing, so you'll eventually get it right.
Win 2 In the Joker's cave (upper left cave; accessed from the entrance area) Changes your background and message color
Woopi 3 Church in hometown Tells your fortune, not that great
Yozo 5 In Windia Castle (the basement maze) He builds a Dojo and will increase someone's AP by 16 only useful for Katt
I know I'm missin quite a few, so Email me and tell who I missed what house their in , etc....

Better yet, email me as well as Drag.
