Format is name, AP required, effect (damage shall be listed as normal/critical), who learns it, and terrain (if any).
The number in parenthesis after the name is the level at which the spell is learned.  An ST indicates a starting spell (i.e., the character joins up knowing that spell).  The levels are taken from Ben Siron's manual.
Terrain means that the spell is more likely to do critical damage when that sort of back ground is the battle field.
Damage is approximate, and can vary from casting to casting; all means it will affect all foes in the enemy group.
Spells that can fail will always do so against bosses.
Spells cast with an item will disregard elemental resistance/immunity.
